Default Trains and Lanes Hobbies, Easton Pa 18045 (Racing every Sunday)

Off-Road Racing Sundays at Trains and Lanes Hobbies
www.trainsandlanesoffroad.com

Okay well with hopes things will pick up again i am going to push for the last and final time racing every week. I have done it at the beginning and middle of the season and no one seemed to show (even those who recommended running every week didn't show/ or have enough to run races.) For those of you who unfourtunately have a bad taste in your mouth for trains and lanes or think your driving skill exceeds the standard at Trains and Lanes on a weekly basis things have changed alot! This past Sunday we gave out over 125 dollars in cash prizes to over 4 classes!

We have tried pushing every week instead of every other week however the turnout just isn't there every week.

Ultimately its up to you guys what you want to do. Normally take away the Dirt runners, action or Pitstop guys and not that many show up to run. So ill give it a shot! As much as i love being there and running races, i have a bowling sponsorship to take care of as well, which will require me to manage races and getting to PJBT tournaments throughout this month through October, however i can put our racing ahead of bowling for now if we start pulling in a crowd every week. **** the bowling tour goes to May ! (so i can make that time up)!

So here it is, Entrys for This weekend! Im giving this the final and last shot only because a few guys have been talking about it lately and im open to making TnL The Place to Race! Lets get those entry's

With Respect!

post your name, class, transponder, and radio frequency below in a neat fashion.

We will be running the Following Classes

2wd Mod Buggy
2wd Mod Truck
4wd Buggies
4wd 8th scale Nitro Buggies
Slash/Truggy

Hey, i think you might be confused with our on-road program on saturdays. This is for the off-roaders on sundays.

But i can help you out, the track is about a 3 to 4 on the bite scale. Race days the ashphalt is a little tackier because i think their putting soda or something down in the groove. I have a cyclone and notice a lack of rear traction more than anything! Hope that helps,

The on-road track is high bite. We are spraying soda on race days. Tire wear is low. There is normally a few nitro's running. Here's a link to the on road thread that has some pics in it.

Default bump up

bump up for the thread.

We're still racing strong.
weekly turnout has been good and track bite is tops.

House transponders are available for heats.

I won't try and bump anyone off the track. :P

It is my understanding that it is going to be a cash race. Top 3 in each class should pay well. It seems that people like the cash payout idea. It is an electric only day, so track conditions will be very good.

Actually lets take a vote:

If your interested in this race would you rather have:
A. Higher cash payout and no trophies/plaques
B. Lower cash payout with trophies/plaques

please post!

Personally I would rather have some kind of award, I do this hobby for fun, not money.

I'm going to talk things over with the race director tonight about getting some plaques made up. No matter what this will be a fun and competitive event and I hope to see some of the best drivers from the area.

No worries, a friend and I are planning to make the trip out from LI next week, I was just wondering what the deal was going to be.
