OC/RC Raceway Surf City Classic

The 1st annual SURF CITY CLASSIC will be held on 8/30/08
$1,500.00 in cash will be given out in the expert classes as well as over $2,500.00 in prizes will be given out by HPI/HB, Gyro and Robs Hobbies!

Race will be limited to 150 entries
Doors will open at 5Am
Controlled practice will start at 6
Racing will start at 9 sharp

1 main

Hey Robert this is just mod classes right? 2wd,4wd,Truck.

Classes are:

2wd buggy = novice, sportsman(17.5 or 27t), super stock (13.5 or 19t), mod
2wd truck = novice, sportsman(17.5 or 27t), super stock (13.5 or 19t), mod
4wd buggy - modified , you can run any motor you like
Traxxas Slash -stock spec rules from Traxxas

Roar approved , hardcase Lipos are legal in all classes.

Track uses Roar rules, but no membership required.
Great indoor facility with A/C
Snacks and smoothies available
View racing on flat screen monitors and at Liverc.com
All pits have Upgrade RC pit mats and stools.

Sounds like fun !! I know OC RC is my new favorite track !!!! I hope to race there this weekend. That Surf city is a little close to Nationals / JBRL. But whooooo hhoooo any way !!!!!

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to wish everyone good luck at the nats this weekend, I'll see you all there on Thursday. Don't forget to sign up for the Surf City Classic though as soon as you get back. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I want to make sure everyone from southern Cali has a chance to get in on the race and the entries are starting to run slim.

Head over to ocrcraceway.com and look in the upcoming events section to download the sign up form.
