TRAINS AND LANES HOBBIES 09 ONROAD RACING Continuing into the future.
NEW REVISED STARTING TIME OF 2 pm FOR THE 2009 SEASON
Opening day is April 4th 2009
Time to think about racing on the asphalt track. We will be racing Saturday afternoon/evening. We are looking at a 4:00 start and do have lights for racing into the nightime hours. Here are some pics from last year's racing. Look to the bottom of this page for info on this season. Hope to see you soon.
Hey Terry Wow!!! Nice track how have ya been? Id thought Id stop in this thread to see whats goin on and say hi
Hey Mike, just trying to get some racing restarted at T&L. The track isn't as big as some of the latest tracks, but it's a lot of fun and super smooth. There is a fresh coating of sealer, so it's got a lot of grip and the tire wear is low too.
There is a growing interest in adding electric touring on a regular weekly basis. We are looking at a 13.5 rubber class to be the standard. The shop carries all the supplies you need for this class. If you want to run open, you will probably be in with the nitro cars.
this weekend was great, this track has far exceeded everyone's expectations. traction picks up Very well. anyone wants to chime in on best tires to run. difference between miday track temp.

Hi Terry,
How have you been? Nice looking track
Had many 1/10th non-oval pan cars up there yet? How about Mini Coopers? Is the track smooth enough for 1/12th?
Not sure if Terry looks on this site often.
but the track address is
3825 Northwood Ave, Easton, PA, 18045
right off Route 33, super easy to get to.
if anyone is coming from:
NY/NJ area..78 west to 33 North OR 80 to 33 S
West PA...78 east to 33 North
Philly...several options ...309N to 78 east to 33 North.. OR 611 N to 78 W to 33N..OR 476N to 78e to 33N
etc..etc..etc...
10 scale onroad has been there every weekend, nitro and electric. super great seal on the track....picks up traction very well and virtually no rubber wear.
Lipos are allowed as well as brushless. Rubber tires or Foams tires...whatever you prefer
Mini's Coopers are all welcome...
if you have 3 of anything they will create a race for you.
12 scale...absolutely welcome...Where is the 12 scale circus????
most guys are showing up at around 2pm or so...we try to start at 4pm.
