Testing battle grounds for the T.O.P?
Hummm!
Larry and the Commander tested their new tops touring car at T&L. They had no hop ups, no extras, just plain in simple the out of box kit. In my opinion they did a great job. That car looked very smooth and planted. But most of all fast. It seem like early in the day Larry Fairtrace and the Commander Jason Shcreffler were swapping ideas during testing. They were testing for Quality, durability, stability and most of handling capability. I got to tell you, the car looked really good. Ron took the day off to build his new tops car while the others tested.

Another role reversal between Orlando and Breakdown. Breakdown takes 4th win 25 laps and Orlando takes 5th with 24 laps. This time Breakdown was doing the moonwalk to the pit area while singing the words "shamoa shamoa, the man in the mirror" and pointing at Orlando.
Heat 2
Jason takes it again 29 laps in 6 minutes flat Larry 29 in 6:10, Brian John, Rocketman and Chris Rupp. It seems like a rivalry has been developing lately between the always tense Brian john and Rocketman. These 2 competitors are neck on neck every time they meet. In heat 2 Brian John wins, 27 laps in 6:12.05, Rocketman 27 laps in 6:12.95.

The saga continues, this time Orlando celebrating another victory over Breakdown does a spin and a Michael Jackson high kick and sings "it doesn't matter if your black or white heeeeee heeee"!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heat 2
In this heat Larry Fairtrace looked pretty smooth and very fast. There were moments were Larry and Rocketman were ripping the straight away but Larry was just to fast to keep up with .If Rocketmans name came from his speed then what should we say about Larry's speed, perhaps "meteor-man" leaving a trail of fire behind him. Or perhaps the hired gunn, the fastest gunn in the Northeast.
What ever it may be, is safe to say that his car had so much rip it was ridiculous. Man, i thought Rocketman was pretty fast, but once i saw Larry's infield speed and specially the straightaway, that changed. Even Rocket man said" what in the world he has in that car". They were times that some asked, what was that? and others answered, "what, the yellow flash. Oh, is just Larry's 2 speed propulsion system melting down the track. Hummm, it makes you wonder were did Rocketmans speed and power go.
Could it be that the Commander and his side kick snatched it from Rocketmans cars while he was being distracted. To tell you the truth i haven't seen Rocketmans wicked speed for a while now. Ever since the no fly zone Rocketmans been on a power recession. Where did it go. Perhaps the hired gunn has it now? Humm!! It makes you think doesn't it. Well anyway Larry took this one with 29 laps followed by Rocketman with 26, Brain John with 26, Terry Liable with 21 and the Commander with 9 out early with a broken car.
On round 3 Rocketman took Brian by 2 sec. Rocketman 26 laps in 6:01 and Brian 26 laps in 6:03. Again while the Commander and Larry did their testings, once again Rocketman and Brian went to battle. Brain beat Rocketman by less then a sec. Brian 27 laps in 6:07.01 and Rocketman 27 laps in 6:08.60. These 2 are evenly match. Lets see what happens next time they meet.

The mains
A main 17.5
This was was packed. In the previous heat Tim and Carlos battled it out. In this one the stage was set. At the buzzer Tim and Carlos went at it. Changing leads about 10 times till the very end when Carlos had a slight edge and got hit gaining an unwanted body tuck. A body tuck that prevented him from using the full potential of his xray. In the mean time Tim Stuart smooth sailing all the way took advantage and gain a little lead witch became a bigger lead when Carlos decided to pull his car over to fix the body tuck. Too bad Dr. Nip Tuck wasn't Marshalling this time.
Tim took the win with 26 laps followed by Carlos with 25. Terry T and Jeff Andre also had a close battle. Terry T with 23 laps in 3rd, Jeff with 23 laps in 4th Choa with 22 in 5th Nate with 22 in 6th Zach with 21 and Kenny out at the start with car trouble.
B main 13.5
The competitors for this one: Don Juan, Chris Rupp, Paposwing, Orlando, Breakdown Alvin.
In the previous 3 heat Paposwing was doing really well until he change tires for the main. The pro 3 seemed very dialed with old warn out jaco greens. Good until the main when i decided to change to new tires. I didn't have the time to scrub them before the main. Jaco greens made the car twitchy and very aggressive in the infield.
The car got a little unpredictable hooking at times in the infield and of course fighting the car made me make mistakes. I had the lead for a while but eventually lost it to Don Juan who had a much faster car. Don Juan took this one with 27 laps, Chris Rupp took 2nd with 26, Paposwing 3rd with 26 and Orlando 4th with 25 Alvin did not start.
A main 13.5
In this one the competitors were The Commander Jason Schreffler, Larry Fairtrace, Brian John, Rocketman, Terry the Terra Liable.
by this main jason and Larry pretty much did what they needed to do to get their new tops car ready for the main.from the beginning it was a race they chased each other during the race.they were very fast and the tops car looked very tight in the infield. The commander took this one by 1 second with 29 laps Larry took 2nd with 29, Brian John and Rocketman exchanged positions in their own little battle. Brian beat Rocketman by 1 sec in their close rivalry. Brian took 3rd with 27 laps, Rocketman took 4th place also with 27 and Terry Liable while on cruise control took notes for the next one, He took 5th with 25 laps.
It will be interesting to see what will happend with the rivalry's between Rocketman, Brian john, Elijah,Tim and Carlos. Lets no forget the older then life itself saga between Breakdown Alvin and Orlando. And soon to come the chronicles of Breakdown and Brokeback ..
Until next.....
