The Commander has spoken, so get with the program and scrub some rubber the best you can and let that be the end of it!!!
now come and put this FK-O5 on it's lid...period
You do a fine job of that on your own lately.
And just you wait. Next week, when Goat and I are debuting our TOP rides, we will also be testing some revisions to our power source.

Horsham RC Carpet Racing - Home of all Blowouts!
We are looking forward to make the trip again on 7/11. It would be nice to get to the mains this time. We recruited Austin to come last time. We will try and round up some more guys next time. We enjoy traveling and experiencing different tracks.
Hopefully some of you guys can spread the love for on-road racing the following Sunday, 7/19 at Jackson R/C. It would be nice to have 1 summer trophy event where every east coast TC racer shows up. The ROC should be a blast. Share a ride and make the trip.
I for one would be a happier racing in 17.5 than 13.5. Stock racing is the basis of all touring racing. The 27 turn class was always the one to run, and now it's a better class thanks to brushless and lipos. The super stock/13.5/19 turn class was always the option class. I don't feel that the 17.5 class should be designated as a beginner or novice class. If it is, then another provision should be made for those more experienced racers who wish to participate in the most competitive class.
And also, no matter who thinks what, 17.5 IS EASIER ON EVERYTHING, including tires, batts and motors. If you don't believe it, take a new set of jaco greens out in each classes on a day when the track temp is 120+ and look at your tire wear and then tell me there is NO DIFFERENCE WHICH CLASS YOU RUN!!! Tires will EASILY last almost twice as many runs in stock.

Wasn't it juans idea to run all 13.5 classes but I like 17.5 it's a blast
All this talk of making another class is dumb. We just don't have the turn out to add another class. All another class would do is spread everyone out even more then they already are. I can see the whole I'd rather run 17.5 over 13.5 cause quite frankly I'd rather run 17.5 myself. I for one don't really care what is done on a weekly basis cause I really have no control over it. But as for the cash race series. I'm not going to add another class cause I don't want to dilute what we have.
Just my .02
And just to clear things up. I had a talk with Cornell yesterday and told him My intentions were not to have him move up but just to be ready by the next race. What happened was he was getting picked on by people about being a Cherry picker and as soon as I mentioned the words 13.5 he went off the handle because of that. Me being the kinda person I am just left and let him vent because I'm not one to argue with someone when they are yelling and screaming.
Cornell I'm sorry you felt like you had to move up but again that was not my intention. You my also add what ever you feel I left out if you want.

Looks like we'll be using the crapet track today. Bring your 17.5 rubber, vintage and recoil and we'll make the best of it.

We are planning on starting at 2, but Juan is not here yet and he has all the scoring stuff. Bring your recoil, but leave the 10th scale at home. The track is changed back to it's previous tight layout.

Update...the track seems fine for Vintage, but a bit hairy for rubber. A couple guys have put foams on their 10th scales and that seems to be working. You just have to drive accordingly. Come and have some fun beating rain.

Here are the race results form our "Hidin inside from the rain" race. The mini touring guys left before the main, so their second round results are the main results. We also ran an open touring class, with most of the racers running 17.5 some on rubber, others on foams. Was a close field. Then there was the vintage class. I guess we could call it outlaw vintage. Anyway, here are the results. I'm sure PapoSwing will be along with the full race report.

My little break from being the "wheel" to being the "wrench" for Schreff
and Goetter was good T.V. and Goetter, my vintage electronics made
it out of intensive care with flying color's (2100lipo+1/10th scale car+8
min main= OH! SH1T!!!)
And despite all the drama about the small track, tight lane's and
(hard)fender to fender rubbing...we all went home with MO' SKILLZ
and a better understanding of car set-up and throttle control
when it was all said and done!!!
And just to think back for a moment......
everyone drove 17.5, crashed-up our car's and had a ball,
novice and expert...see that wasn't that hard now was it
So don't go away MAD...Just go away...period
