Terry T- This is Jeff-Do you know if this rs speedo is set at max timing?I think if it is I have found my prob.- all my motors have fixed timing which is about 12-14 degrees. With 42 plus total timing I think I need to back it down a bit-lol-.I can't fry another motor
.

If your firing motors that probably is your problem. You should start out around 18 timing on the speedo.

I "only"fried one-but they seem to go soft @ 3-4min-so I took the last one (lrp 17.5)off the track when I felt it slow a bit.It temped at 160.FDR=4.23.I am not a computer guy and this has got me stumped. All I want to do is concentrate on my driving and not worry so much about nuke'n motors .I will never be as fast as some of the guys here anymore. But still would like to be competetive.

Have Shreff or Ron do it for you. Drop it to 18 degrees and keep the same FDR. You should be okay. You might have to go up or down one tooth.

Yes that ESC is at max timing and it has firmware 198. If you want anything changed on it just let me know, I bring my hotwire and laptop with my always. Ron and Terry L. usually have their hotwires also.

Default welcome

welcome Morris.

I have a lipo you can use for the day.
I'm sure you'll be back after just one day of racing.....no one can kick the onroad habit.

Talk to you soon
