I'll bring the Johnson's shampoo. They claim you won't have any more tears. Especially after gettin dust in your eyes
the trick is to rebuild it right the first time

The only thing "Smackin' Down" is your Xray chassis against the track....

That was funny...made my day...
I'll be at the shop later tonight...

perhaps an unofficial run on the track is called for...
ohh...wait...
we have to clean it first....
We'll try and keep every updated with the track prep...in the coming weeks..

guys...perhaps we should shedule a quick racer pre-season...just suggestion...WGT, Transam..
I'll pitch in for some of the wood needed for repairing the wood planks needing to be fixed....
Anyone want to volunteer to replace the planks....I'm not much a handy man...

Ohhh...wait we can't ask RCPersonified.......he's busy fixing his car..

X-RAY POWER. joke-amo sucks

I think the 4th of April should be the official start date at the track. I would like to have some sort of early season cash race there maybe the end of April Beginning of May.

As for classes,

I think we need to stay with some of the roar rules here.

1. 13.5 TC
2. 17.5 TC for beginners
3. 21.5 lipo WGT being are track rule.

also we should have an open premount tire rule. And for my cash races it will be open tire rule BUT they must come to tech un-opened to be checked.

Rui and I know Joe I want you to be there opening day.......

I agree...
completely..

13.5/19t
17.5/27t...

as always this track is lipo friendly...

let's not forget we can start at any club/sportsman type race heats during the season...just so everyone feels welcome.

I'm just phsyched....racing season is almost here!!!!!....oh yeahhhhh...

That does all sound great, but I have guys still asking me about nitro. I know Juan doesn't want to run nitro anymore. How does everyone else feel about it? Should I tell these guys no nitro? I don't think Hobbytown is going to be running anything. They don't care to support the financial needs of a racing program. So it looks like T&L is it this year, with the occasional trip to Jackson or Pennsauken.

Default Nitro

I think Nitro will be okay....
I'm sure no one will be turned away.

main concern is can the barriers handle the Nitro impacts?

Talk to everyone soon.

Default Up for discussion

Hi everyone..
Just wanted to put out the question for start time this season..
past season..we usually started around 4pm..

Is there an option or want to change that to an earlier time?

Let's say around 12-2pm?

Please put your input in guys.
I am aware a lot of our racer don't use the online thread..can you pass the word..

I'm hoping to have a quick get together this Saturday at Trains and Lanes to discuss this..
let's say around 3pm...if that is okay..

Thanks

lipo world gt sounds okay.. what about those cars that dont fit lipooz?

xray?

12 start time sounds reasonable to me. It would definitely mean i could make it out more than once a year. ( so i wont just be the guy that talks about racing )

A few guys that i have spoken with wouldn't mind still being able to have the weekend night still open after racing. A 12 start time would hopefully make all mains either finished or starting by 4:30 5pm. Depending on time between heats... I know most directors like to work the time out for those who work during the day? What about those that work during the night?

jmho......

Default Oval???

Oval doesn't get much attention/participation at the track...so we would rather rather avoid that whole conversation for now until they come forth.

but thank for the ideas.

we will concentrate on OnRoad course.

as far as World GT and battery, I do believe there is an official thread in the Electric Forum with the standard rules regarding Lipo and/or cells.

Looks like World GT is going to have a good start..lot's of interest so far..
fast enough but yet simple.

Looking forward to mixing it up with you Guys real soon. I'll be racing TC 13.5 and I'll be bringing my WGT with me in case others show. I'm all for starting at 12 or even 1pm cause I have to head to work in the NYC area for my graveyard shift after the days racing......Oh well!

I'll be spreading the good word of this awesome place and hopefully bring some Guys with me.

Take care and see you all soon!
