Default sun up

hey Nitro
I would think as soon as the sun comes up you can use the track but the guys usually don't spray the grape till after noon.

Default 2009 Season

Hi All,
Just wanted to start putting up the notice

Trains and Lanes outdoor TC season will start as soon as weather permits.

Hopefully end of March or beginning of April (pray to the weather gods)

We built up a good crowd last season and looking to make it better this year.

All racers welcome....Pro or Club.....
Bring your pit tables, chairs and extension cords.
Track has power.
Hobby shop can get pretty much anything you want.

Tons of places to get stuff to eat.

Default Just ask

Just ask moderator to change/remove the year on the thread...and just make one thread for a permanent outdoor track in Easton, PA area..
but either way is good I'm not the one managing it

Default Saturday Onroad Racing

For any concerned parties, Trains and Lanes Onroad Racing will continue on Saturdays as it has for the past few years. Any other rumors you have heard are false and should be ignored.

Now on to the new season. We have some exciting new things coming your way, including the new World GT class. We will also still be running the 13.5 rubber touring class that became popular at the end of last summer. There is the possibility of continuing the mini touring class from the indoor carpet track to the asphalt track. Keep your eyes peeled more to come.

I can't wait any longer...
I'm going to camp out at the track until it starts....

Racing is hopefully starts as soon as the weather breaks..yeap...
Ready for the first truck load of grape soda pop!

For anyone wanting to try out OnRoad racing on the cheap..
the store just started carrying the Cyclone S kits RTR.
For the seasoned racers...well....the usual trash talking is expected at the track.

Classes:
OnRoad 13.5/19 turn-Rubber tire (the most popular class at the track).
OnRoad 17.5/27 turn-Rubber tire (if enough show up).
World GT class (motor TBD shortly).
Clubman/Sportsman heats will also be considered every weekend.

Rule if more than 3-4 show up for something else...we will run a class/heat.

Thanks everyone, we are definitely looking forward to having a fantastic season once again.

Default Can't wait

Olhipster,
I'm with you. I can't wait to get back outside on the asphalt. I miss the grape soda sticking to the bottom of my shoes as i marshall. It will be nice to see some of the guys that didn't race inside with us this winter. Also to see some newcomers out there mixing it up.

One thing that I didn't hear was the word "NITRO". I think you guys are afraid of the "X-RAY POWER". That's alright though, I'll just have to chase that yoke around the track. Ha Ha!

Also very interested in the Worlds GT class. I'll wait to see how many people talk about getting them before I get another car. I guess they're along the same lines as the 12th scales as far as handling and setup is concerned. We will see.

Guys, get those cars dusted off and ready to go. Day one will be here before you know it.

Alvin

Alright. That's it. The gloves have come off. The only time we can't catch you is when your leaving the parking lot. As far as me breaking in every race. That would mean I at least started every race. Don't just use race day as your chance to rebuild your car three times. Racing is like the lotto, you gotta get in it to win it.

I'll bring the Johnson's shampoo. They claim you won't have any more tears. Especially after gettin dust in your eyes
