Regarding the RCGT class, the original two version of the HPI X-Pattern have been discontinued and all thats available are the D-Compounds and they are junk.
A lot of tracks have changed the rules to address this. When I was in California, I raced in a class called GT10. Basically its RCGT with an open tyre on a spoked rim (no dish wheels). Later there was a GT10 Spec class and the spec tyre was by Gravity RC.

The other class is the USGT and that also has a spec tyre by Ride.

I personally like the GT10 open tyre because it allows you to run what you have. In the end, everyone will probably settle on a tyre that performs best on the track.

Thanks fellas, not sure I'll make it (school) plus I need some new lids/tires but I must try (got a shaft and belt car) 2 chassis' ready for fun

Just wanted to stop in an say hey ,I got sc pro sc , i want stop buy an see whats napping what time do u guys start . Also would like to meet up at off road track with some sc guys an get some coaching if u are in to it , I'm off Tuesday and Wednesday ,i go to silver bowl some times and try to clean it up an run there
