I beg to differ...I've seen both you and Dennis Hall fly them a long way off a jump and land them perfectly.

Sportsman classes require "stock" motors. Its the same at any track. Either a brushed 27t stock motor or a 17.5 brushless motor is the ROAR rule which this track will probably follow. The track may allow 13.5 in the stock classes for now though.

So 13.5 is going extinct? If i remeber right it can be run with 10.5 in superstock or something like that.

Yes 13.5 is supposed to be Super Stock.

Here is a list of approved brushless motors and what class they are legal for. The stock and super stock motors look to be pending until the end of this month.

I know people hate hearing this but the ROAR rules for next year will ONLY allow 13.5 BL (no brushed) in the "super stock" class which will make 10.5 BL a mod motor.

Got it, so 10.5 is actually the one probably dying out.

Yep. 10.5 will probably be a great mod motor for OCRC though. Especially if you are just moving up and you may be able to get them for a good deal after this year!

I made the "A" main in 4wd mod at the first 2 JBRL series races with a 10.5 in my car in open modified. You would be suprised to see how fast those things are!

Whats the latest?? Last i heard was a couple weeks ago i was racing onroad at BCR and someone was on the phone with Kevin Smith who was at OCRC and said they were fine tuning the track to a nice flow. Also mentioned was that they're going to have couches, plasma screen tv's and a pool table. I want OCRC to open now!!

Stopped by today and happened to have my camera. They are big, sorry. I will offer them as an apology for getting a little judgmental a while back. Anyone putting together a place like this for us deserves a lot of credit.
