Default Muscle Car Vintage Class

Hello everyone

What do you guys think of a Vintage Muscle Car Class..Trans Am etc...

Vintage bodies, tires, wheels etc....

Either electric or nitro or both?

Thanks,

AH

Default Registration forms

I'll have to dust off the Pimp hat for this one. Any Idea when registration forms will be available? Will there be any class for the Baja? I'm Impatiently waiting

I'm not sure how many more would show up, but if you have one, bring it, and we'll at least demo it for everyone....Anybody else thinking of bringing one???

Wow, you must have been reading my mind! I was thinking just last night how cool it would be if all of the sedan classes ran vintage bodies for this event. (except for Micro and Super Nitro of course)

I know there is a movement in the hobby toward a Trans Am class as a fun R/C alternative, so this might just be a great kick start here in the Northeast....

We still have a lot of time to get bodies, and make this happen.....hmmmm, Mustangs, Camaros, etc. etc..... hmmmmm, that would rock pretty hard....

I would make the wheels/tires optional, if we all agreed to go retro on this one.....

What say you HPI'ers????

the vintage wheels and tires are very different from other race tires. I'd say keep them mandatory - and run them in their own class.

vintage body and wheels - either stock and/or superstock.

I think there would be enough interest to run the class on its own, and not impact the standard TC classes.

I'm going out to get my Cuda body today!! I will have to agree that we should not have to use the vintage tires and rims. Hmmm???? My colors on a Hemi Cuda??? stay tuned!!!

Hey Ray... just to be clear, you're suggesting using the retro bodies instead of touring car bodies and running the race classes as usual?

Exactly....I figured everyone pretty much breaks out a new body for this event anyway, so why not go old school on 'em....

I'm sure we could break the record of the biggest R/C retro race at the same time....LOL

Jeff, I have a complete HPI electric setup you can borrow if you want. It's an older chassis....It has a futaba radio, stock futaba servo, receiver and speedo.

A little TLC and you'd be set. Let me know and I'll get it to you....
