If they build a more challenging layout Im sure more people will come. I would love to actually race a club race there. Every time Ive gone there was enuf people or the promoter dont show or it was just a practice day. If they had a layout kinda like last years gas champs or something similar . Then I bet people would go.

A new offroad track layout should be built in February.

same here i would like to see some racing back at SV, I've only raced there once and it was cool, not a big turn out I think the races were dwindling down at that time and they couldn't come up with a particular day to race(Sat or Sun) but I would like to go to another track and put timed laps down so I'm good just hoping to see something soon.

I've never had the pleasure of racing at SVM. I think a regular club racing schedule at SVM would be awesome. Sundays would be a good day. Just my 2 cents.

We're slowly but surely stocking 1/8th nitro parts.

Newbie here at the forum.

You guys mentioned that the layout of the SV Speedway off-road track will be changed. I'm planning on buying an off-road buggy but not sure on the scale size. I'm thinking of 8th scale (i.e., RC8) but it will all depend on the track.

Any advice?

A 1/8th scale anything ie. Truggy or buggy will do fine at S.V. This track is big enough to drive a real truck on .Bring what you have, the more people we can round up the better. As far as a new track layout It's always been great for 1/8 th and 1/10th nitro.

I'm also thinking of getting an HPI Baja. I'm not sure if Richard B. will retain the track configuration for 1/5. He doesn't sound too keen on 5th scale off-roading.
