Default HB CHALLENGE

HB official race event will start from next month!!
(entry foam sheet and the race fliers are available soon!)

The first event will be held on December 16th at

Bending Corners Raceway(s)
2190 N. Canal Street Orange, CA 92865

For the first event, we’ll have two classes as following,

Cyclone-S Spec Class

-Chassis: Cyclone-S/Cyclone-S RTR w/No Chassis Modification
-Motor: HPI SATURN 27T MOTOR (Part#1144)
-Batteries: HPI Ni-Cd Battery Pack 7.2V 1500mAh (will be provided by HB for free of charge)
-Tires: HB GUMBALLS World Spec Tire (Part#61147) or MOUNTED RACING TIRE S COMPOUND (Part#61271) that come with the RTR Kit.
-Radio and Equipment: Any Radio Tx/Rx, ESC, Servos
-Bodies: All 190mm/200mm Bodies that manufactured by HPI/HB
(Bodies must be painted)

Cyclone Spec +Plus Class

-Chassis: All Cyclone Touring Cars (Cyclone, Cyclone WCE, Cyclone-S/Cyclone-S RTR)
-Batteries: NiMH or NiCD SC of 4300mAh or less
-Motor: 19Turn Motors (Must be IFMAR/ROAR Approved)
-Tires: GUMBALLS World Spec Tire (Part#61147)
-Radio and Equipment: Any Radio, Tx/Rx, ESC, Servos
-Bodies: All 190mm/200mm Bodies that manufactured by HPI/HB
(Bodies must be painted)


Big Cash prizes
There will be cash prize bonus system for both classes.
All top 10 drivers will get cash prize bonus. (The dividend will be announced later on)

Get your body paint cool!!
All participants will be automatically signed up for the Body concourse.
We will also have cash prize for the body concourse winner.

can anyone race in the cyclone s spec class cause i definately want to do that race sounds like fun

Will brushless be allowed (10.5) for the plus class?

hey chris i think they said no brushless motors not sure though later

I hope you're doing well.

as for the spec 19T motor, we're thinking about using brushed motor as E-man replied you already. Because once we allow using both brushed/brushless, most people will use brushless since they are faster than the brushed. It's ok If all the participant already have the brushless system but what I'm concern is the people who still don't have the brushless system.

We want to make it easy for their budget so please let me hear people's opinion. if all everybody want to use the brushless, we're willing to allow using them.
