Hobby Hangar Raceway For Nitro And Electric Racers
Hey guys it's just about that time The Hobby Hangar race team will be out cutting and building the track this saturday morning. We have expereanced a delay due to our track trailer being stolen We have bought all new 3'' and 2 1/2'' PVC this past weekend but due to the rain we were unable to get it cut and built. we will be located in south riding off of rt 50w in a church parking lot. we should be up and running this saturday for a free test and tune day it would be appreciated if anybody that would be intrested in coming out to help that way we'll get the track up sooner and start getting those hot lick nitro cars and electric cars around the track. maybe if it gets done soon enuff we can hold the first race of the season
keep watching this thread for updates, news and results and if there are any questions feel free to post them here and we will give you the racers a speedy answer
at HOBBY HANGAR we will be looking forward to seeing old friends and new faces, we want to give the best racing enviroment possible. I will be posting the rules here in the next day or so. lets us know what you think. lets talk it up and get the racers out to the track.

For those of you that would like to help construct the track can meet us at Hobby Hangar saturday morning between 8:30am and 9:00am. We will meet hook up the trailer and head out to the race site. As soon as I make up a set of directions I will post them here. Along with other information. STAY TUNED. This will be a great season of racing at Hobby Hangar and if it rains we will get the boats out to race. or cram a nitro engine in a duck and race them

Mike,
Looks good. See you Saturday. I'll bring the Grill and my saw and drill.
Someone from the shop was supposed to buy some 3.5 and 2.5 lag bolts with wing nuts to tie down the corners. Also, 3 stair step ladder for drivers stand, patio brick (to keep things from moving around), clothes pins for the frequency board. May need to make one since I don't think we have one.
Kwang was also going to get someone to make some ext. cords to a junction box so that the electric guys could plug in. The generator (like most) only has two outlets.
You may want to check on this so were not running all over the place Saturday morning.
Just a suggestion.

I plan on going up there no later than 10am. Even if it rains a little we can still work on the track. Any tools I should bring or do you guys have enough of everything?
