how about a little more info???

Roar runs 5 min not 6 min
foam tires or Rubber tire?
Brushed motor only in Stock? or are you going to allow brushless in stock 13.5s
1/12 scale or not? as lot of people in your area still run 1/12th

I just want a little more info as the place looks great and I'm in Texas and work with your buddy Tray here at Mike's and he talks about the track.

According to the flyer this is a ROAR sanctioned race. Therefore ROAR Rules should apply. don't know where the 6 minute heats came from? as for stock classes per ROAR rules...BL (no matter the wind) are run in mod class only.

Dude, so sorry that you have to work with Tray. (kidding)

Yes, six minute races are a deviation... That's why I made sure to put that on the event flyer.

Glad you brought up the BL thing. The 13.5 BL will be allowed for the TC Stock class. I forgot to list that as a deviation. oops! I'll get it fixed.

Ruber tires, per ROAR regs.

Sorry, no 1/12 scale class.

Interesting, so since the 13.5 is being allowed, will it be ok with the sintered rotor, or will you be requiring everyone to use the original bonded rotors(some tracks only allow it with the bonded rotor, while others are ok with sintered, so I figured I should make sure)?

Wow, the guy is trying to promote a race in a state where about 0.000000001% of the population even knows what a RC car is, much less race electric on-road, and everybody is complaining about not following antiquated ROAR rules.

Thats our point. Why even use ROAR. Just set your local track rules and run the race. Nothing against ROAR but why pay extra and NOT run by their rules? It is a great looking onroad track though.

Open tire. We are'nt gonna try and spec this race to death.

Just a good time racing, at a great facility, where a guy has a chance to win a recognized ROAR championship... Hopefully we'll have a couple big names on seen to showcase products or help out a noob. We'll see.

For the BL stock guys, the only 13.5 allowed here so far is the Novak 13.5 PRO SS, as it has the color coded tech ring. Does anyone know if any other brand of 13.5 has this feature?

Sorry I forgot to list the BL deviation on the flyer it will be fixed soon.

Well, mine isn't exactly the Pro, it's older, but is setup the same(it was one of the first to be sold with the sintered rotor included, but no ribbed can or colored timing ring, got it at the Novak Race in Janurary). I agree it'd be unwise to include the other brands' 13.5's at least until we get a good idea on how they compare to the Novak ones, but I thought I should be sure that mine would be ok before making any plans....
