I'm trying to get some trophy girls for this event. Just need to write a request, make triplicates, send it to corporate HQ and the local restaurant. Then cross my fingers and hope they say yes.
Hey Carl,
Any luck with the Hooters Girls

Okay fella's, here is what I found out. Try not to drool on your key board.

Talked to one of the owner/managers at the local Hooters on Saturday. He was really impressed with my Mini Cooper and was interested in supporting this race. He said he would talk to the other owner/manager about the race when he gets back from the corporate meeting/bikini contest in Las Vegas at the end of the week (I am really in the wrong business ) If they approve it, looks like I might be able to get a pit crew for me , and some trophy girls. I will give an update once I hear something more.

One important side note. In order for them to make it worth coming to this event, I told them that I think we can get 20-40+ people/mini's at this race. We need as many mini's as possible, it doesn't matter if your a pro or a beginner, let's have some fun and make this a great race.

If 56 Mini drivers wil show up at Memphis, we should be able to get at LEAST that many to attend this event!!!

I sure hope so - wouldn't it be great if all 56 from Memphis could come up and join us for the fun?

I wonder what kind of "business trip" I could swing to come out for the race

Looks like it will be a lot of fun - and some good competition

This should not be a problem, we had 50 Mini's at the Regional TCS this past March and there wasn't any Hooters girls at that event; just a Hooters car and one green slug.

This should be a killer event. Now all I've gotta do is get loose from work early enough in the week to get in some carpet practice...as if that will help!

RCGaryK Rent-a-ride anyone?
Would you be interested in a rear wheel drive Mini.

I have a pretty decent M04m if you have some batteries, a motor, and tires.
