Thanks Jamie and Mark for the input. We look forward to any info regarding the outdoor schedule this year at Madness, right here on RCTech!!

Besides sedan 19T electric, 1/12 scale should be off the hook!! I run it whenever I get a chance outside and if you never tried, you don't know what your missing. I promise you BIG FUN!!.............. Not much to change from a indoor set-up. Bring them out this year. Your going to love it.

................ Believe me, the 28th of April, can not come fast eneough. Me and the rest of the Gang will at the season opener............... Until then all, Happy Racing!!

any perspectives on the acceptability of using a Novak 10.5 for '19 turn'?

I do have plenty of Checkpoints, (old non-Hemi) Komodos, etc. but not cutting comms is a good thing sometimes.

Dont worry Barry you can run whatever 10.5 or a 19t. Some guys may even run lipo.

I think the people make a bigger deal out of the differences. The difference in performance over an entire lap is minimal.

It is only a problem if you pass me on the outside at the end of the straight...lol.

The ongoing joke is you can run whatever you want...brush,brushless, lipo etc. as long as you dont drive like Masami...lol.

See you next week.

gee - two pieces of good news for next weekend

1) no sealer on the track yet (at other tracks this has ended up being a bad thing for traction, especially when it gets hot in the summer, but we'll see)

2) no smyka

Will there be both Stock and 19 turn? I just thought it was 19 turn. Either way I will be there weather permitting.

Default 19 turn vs. stock

I think everyone is looking to see what the track layout will be like, since it is going to be smaller this year than the last several years.

It will be like 'the good old days' at Madness when they used to run the HPIs, etc.
