4200mah = blown motor
Since I started using 4200mah batteries i've blown 6 different motors. I mean I could run a 3800 take it out and put a 4200 in with absolutly no changes and poof. I can run 3800's all day with no problems. I use a GTX speed control on the 3rd profile setting. Anybody have any sugestions i'm getting kind of frustrated here!!

You're attempting to run the same gearing I'm gathering? The 4200's are putting out more voltage than the 3800's.... You need to drop a tooth or 3...

vtl1180ny...Thanks for the advise. I went to the track today and found out that a motor I usually rollout at 28 to 28.5 I could rollout at 26 to 26.5 with those batteries. I also put a diode on my speed control. Ran 4 batteries and no smoke. Damn those batteriess are powerful.
mike...Sorry I didn't make it I only had a couple motors left and needed them to figure these batteries out. When I run up against you I want to be prepared. Heard you guy's had a killer turnout though. congrats I'll see ya at the rumble.
