Well, Camarillo will be sealing the cracks in the track in prep for a new seal, due to be laid down on the 15th of March. The seal will be thick and will not have any sand in it. The club thought about laying new asphalt but the lowest bid we got was $ 8000 which we can afford to do but we want to get the AMBrc system which allows you to run personal transponders. We have the software for the AMBrc sytem just not the hardware . Sealing the track cost less than a $1000 . So sealing the track allows us to buy the AMBrc system and get a new surface on the track. Both of which will hopefully get more people to come to the track on race days, which means more funds for the club which means we'll have more money to work with next time.

Default sealing the track in Camarillo

sponger;

I think they're making a BIG mistake. There goes all that good traction that was there. That sealer will get gooey and slippery when it heats up and NO tires are going to work.

We are going to put down a slurry seal, not Asphalt sealer. My Bad for misleading you.
