Default 2006 IIC Warm-up @ Competition Hobbies Tucson, AZ

Who's coming? It is scheduled for Labor Day weekend. New carpet and IIC rules.

Thinking its going to be the same this year or just wanting a Scotty style layout? Last years layout was dialed for sure!! Good mix of flowing and tight sections as well. Made for awesome racing.

I know Scotty mentioned he would like to keep the same layout however I am not sure if he will. I thought that layout was very good and demanding.

Saw the new carpet all rolled up in the corner on Saturday. I hope they get it installed this week and put the IIC layout down. It would be nice to start putting some sort of groove in it before everyone shows up for the race.

Also, what traction compounds are going to be allowed on the new rug? I've heard no Paragon, just Jack the Gripper. Anyone confirm or refute?

News...

Old carpet was ripped up tonite. New carpet will be layed down tomorrow morning (8/25) at 9 am.

Tire additives will be only jack the gripper as this is what is allowed at the IIC.

Only a little over a week left. get those sign-ups in!

Will the layout be in by tomorrow night for Friday racing? Do you guys have any Jack the Gripper in stock? If not, you may want to buy a few cans...

The new carpet is about 98% installed. Looks realy good, nice and smooth, no tape on the joints 100% glued down.

Asked Steve if a layout will be in by friday racing? No answer on that one.

Do they have the layout of last years IIC? If not I think I have it measured out. I'll email or fax it to whomever. CH's track is 90x43 right?
