Thumbs up Redneck RC in Oswego NY

Redneck RC has moved....and is offering a great new facility for racers. Pictures are attached below. The current racing schedule is as follows:

Dirt Oval: Thursday Nights, 1st heat goes off around 7PM, classes as follows:

EDM Small Block, Sportsman and Big Block Stock
EDM Modified
Trucks
Sprints (19T max)
Nitro EDM
Nitro Sprint
Nitro Latemodels

Offroad: Saturday Mornings/Afternoons. 1st heat goes off at Noon. Classes as follows:

1/8 Buggy
Nitro Monster Trucks
Truggys
1/10 2wd Stock
1/10 Stock Truck

We will also run 1/10 Nitro Trucks and 1/10 4wd Stock if there is a demand for those classes. Also, if it is preferred to run 19T or Modified electric classes, that can be worked out as well

Onroad: Sunday Mornings/Afternoons. 1st heat goes off around Noon. Classes include:

1/10 TC Stock
1/10 19T TC
1/12 Stock
1/10 Nitro TC

Again, if there is a demand for 1/10 Mod TC or 1/12 Mod, we will run them.

This past thursday we had our first race on the dirtoval with a decent turnout considering it was advertised a day and half. Based on the amount of emails and phone calls we've had, the crowd may double this week. If you have a table, extension cords, power strips, even generators, bring them because we are far from done and we do not have a defined pit area yet. There is however plenty of room for EZups and such, and we do have some electrical outlets installed.

Store hours are as follows:

Sundays and Mondays 10-5
Tuesday - Friday 10-9
Saturday 10-6

On weekend racedays, anyone is more than welcome to arrive a little earlier if desired. Racing will commence on all 3 days starting this Thursday. We lookforward to seeing everyone there.

That's cool, too bad it would take me less time to get to Virginia than to Oswego and I'm in NY...

Matt,

What are the tire rules going to be for TC on Sundays for stock and 19T sedan? Foam or Rubber?

Thanks,

Zig

either or...no tire rule....the whole onroad deal is new to us so we'll make adjustments as we receive input as to what the racers want.

We have already raced on the dirt oval.....racing will continue this Thursday and Offroad and Onroad will begin this weekend. Track is open every day....as long as its not raining, anyone is more than welcome to come and try it out. Here is the shops address if you need to mapquest it:

Redneck RC
80 Dutch Ridge Rd
Oswego NY 13126

Again, the asphalt roadcourse deal is new to us so we will be constantly making improvements to cater to the racers, just as we will be doing to the offroad and the dirt oval.

Today we had a handful of guys practicing on the offroad track....a few minor changes were made and seem to be well liked thus far. Also, more work was done on the dirt oval (cleaning up the infield mostly).

Onroad track looks sweet!
Good work guys...the plastic walls around the oval track is a nice touch too.
Best of luck!
