Just wanted to let everyone know that we have already broken ground on the track renovations for this year. We leveled the entire track and had clay brought in. So far we have a 3" layer of clay on the entire track and will be putting more clay down inside the lanes. This looks to be a great year, and I hope that everybody working together we can bring the back the glory days of racing at Pit Stop. Looks like the classes we will have will be 2wd mod buggy, 1/10th scale gas truck, 1/8th scale buggy, Monster Truck/Truggy, along with a novice class. We should be starting the end or april, or the latest the first weekend of May. There will be onsite food available as well.
For anybody that has been there the past few years you might remember some transponder issues, however an AMBrc system has been installed so bring your personals.
Just want to thank everybody in advance for coming out, if you have any questions you can feel free to email me at
Matt@groffsfarmgolfclub.com I will try to help in anyway I can. or call the shop at (717) 653 6222. For anybody that doesn't know Pit Stop Hobbies is a full stocked hobby shop with an onsite outdoor offroad track. It is located in Mount Joy, Lancaster County PA, and is just a short drive from York or Harrisburg.
Kurt Shredders, Brian Roeder, Bob Moore and myself have been working hard on the track already and hope everyone will enjoy the new layout and the new surface.
Thanks
Matt Groff
