All this talk about "numbers" is understandable..BUT, If i remember correctly last time the number was set at six members, this time we had six members...Y'all had plenty of time to recruit and make up a posse', but like last time, y'all dropped the ball..."IT AIN'T OUR FAULT"..
The trophy was there for the taking....stop the nitpicking and start racing....
I am all for rules, As far as I'm concerned we followed the same as last time...

Okay Tooters...I want to start an effort now to bring the trophy back up here next year.

2003 Team Rules
Stevie Wonder can see that there's something wrong with the points system.
Yesterday was Off the Dot! Thanks Charlie!
1) Track Layout was Hella fast.
2) Team Toot took home the trophy but they didn't earn it. Once the results are posted we will re-count them with the new system and see how many points they really earned.
Yesterday is gone, but forever in our memories, great day of racing and thank god we only ran 1 qualifier and 1 main because it got cold as hell after everyone was gone and Charlie and I were chatting about the days events.
Lets make some rules that we can enforce for The 2003 Race Series year and we can submit them to everyone and get all of the teams to participate.
Suggested Race Locations for the series could be Toys 4 Tots, Turkey Shootout, Hitec annual, 4th of July Bang-Bang and how about some Hobby People locations?
We HAVE TO add the Hitec race as that is a San Diego race and Team Toot would definitely be there. (Saturday Race usually in August)
- Will we race other locations other than Charlies races.
Team Toot only races together in semi big event races and are always at the races listed above. 4th of July Bang-Bang will be new in 2003.
****2003 Rules****
- 6 competiting racers max per team at an event but, there is no limit to the number of team members. (Wife/Kids/Girlfriends/Moms dads can be listed as team/club members but only six can race at an event)
- A driver can only collect points in 1 class which has to be determined prior to the beginning of the race but, may run other classes or as many classes as he/she wishes.
sample: Raffell Thompson (CSR) will earn Team Points.
Sample: Raffell Thompson, will not earn Team Points.
- Scoring
The team with the most points EARNED WINS!
Example:
A-main 1st place = 100, A-main 10th Place = 91
B-Main 1st Place = 90, B-Main 10th place = 81
C-Main 1st Place = 80, C-Main 10th Place = 71
D-Main 1st Place = 70, D-Main 10th Place = 61
** If there is 1 racer in a class with no other series point racers in that class and he/she finishes in the B main 3rd place, 88 points will be earned and so on.
Team Trophy: 1 Team Trophy to be handed out to the winning team at the event. This trophy will be present at all events and will be shared to represent team victory. $20.00 deposit from winning team required to take trophy home. (Deposit Refundable upon return of trophy)
CSR, not just a team but an outlet!

with this race gone and leaving some in dought as to no pre race meeting of challenges. Lets make all aware of every thing involved in every aspect so no questions are asked at the end of any event...had a great time and look foward to the up-comming season........to all thanks for a niiiccceee race day...
