Hey Shane,
Alright, I have a minor bug to post. It is pretty useless as most people may not even notice it BUT here it is(some info is missing):

Yea, I just haven't coded that part in yet. I am trying to discover the best way to do it, rather than having a query on every page of the site like it used to.

For those who reported problems with unsubscribing to threads, that problem has been fixed. To manage subscriptions, visit this link:

have tried all the fixes you haev suggested with ie but none work yet
I'm having a simular problem. But it works sometimes, then there is times when it doesn't work.
I.E. I will get an e-mail notification and click on the link and it sends to the thread, but I'm not logged in (sometimes it works, other times it doesn't). Then I will login and read the new posts. Then I wont' get an e-mail notification of new posts now. ??

Also I can not use the link button above. I get this error on the image I attached. ANd I have texted copied...

These issues are in Fire Fox only! IE, it works fine.

If you're using FireFox what happens, is that you'll need to
1) type the text
2) select the typed text
3) click on the link button above.
4) then it would prompt for a dialog to type the url
5) click ok

am using firefox too, hope this helps

For those who had pointed it out earlier, I have now fixed the statistics on the top of the page, including today's posts. They display correctly on all pages now.

I don't want to type it. I want to copy and paste stuff. Hate these new boards..PITA. This is the only one that gives me problems.

Maybe you shouldn't bash Shane's programming and start using a good browser.

Well I don't know Shane, It's not a personal attack against him. How was I suppose to know HE PROGRAMMED IT ALL HIM SELF?
Did you think this could be corrective criticism? I'm not the only one here that uses this great browser. It's public and not every one uses the same browser, Operating System, programs, RC's, ESC's or servos etc..
I like these boards and the content is great! I'm voicing opinions of others and myself on the new boards. Not to attack anyone!

Shane,
I apologize if you feel attacked, that was not my intent. Now that I read my post it could be taken that way and was not the way it was suppose to be. I have been frustrated with it since the change is all. Maybe there will be a solution to the issues with this "not so good browser".

I didn't program this software from scratch but I did add some custom code and integration to get what we have here. However, I did not mess with the cookie handling functions at all, so I am skeptical that there is anything wrong on this side. I use Firefox from time to time and have no problems staying logged in.

If anybody else is having problems with Firefox, I'd like to hear about it so I can forward it on to the vB developers and hopefully they can arrive at a solution. Since I can't duplicate the problem here, I have no way to test a possible solution.

Does anybody else use Firefox and *not* have problems?

My main issue is linking URL's or Images into a post in Fire Fox. I select the Insert link button and I get this message (attachment below). I can't paste links, pictures or text.

thanks
