Using google, whenever you would click on search results from rctech to go to that page it would redirect to some myfilestore.com crap. Usually hitting the back button and clicking the link again worked. It is a pretty widespread exploit.
Thanks 2canSAM but I knew that already. I posted that exact information a few posts ago. Was interested in understanding if the problem may be on my PC (malware) or if the site has been compromised somehow.

By the way, happened for me again just now.

I am back to getting it as well. Nope not your PC, it's server side. Oh what fun.

What sucks is I can no longer get here with my phone. If this is in fact coming from IB, nice job..NOT! And that's coming from a member of your mod staff..

This has been happening to me. My best advice is not to use google search from a work computer until the issue is corrected.

Why do you need Google to find rctech?
Just type rctech.net into the address bar or use a bookmark or something.

I think a lot people use it to search the for sale section. The search in that forum is horrible.

New people looking to join for one. They Google rctech and it kicks them to a page that looks like spam.....that doesn't look good.

And yes it's still broken, so IBobi, tell your "tech" guy to call his wife and tell her he's gonna be late for dinner..

google has been doing this for some time. it doesn't have anything to do with the site or because it's a forum.

I have seen this serching for other stuff as well.

all the serches I see about this topic come up to having a virus in your computer. but that cant be the case becasue it does it on fresh windows and linux installs. I've tested it personally. and linux is practically virus proof anyway.
