Why is it that whenever I come to this forum, whether I'm logged in or not, the photo gallery always opens? What's the point in having that set to open by default and how can I edit my settings so it stays closed?

It stays closed every-time I am on, there is a little arrow in the top right corner if you click on that it should stay closed.

I see the close arrows fine and they work, but I have to do this for each visit to these forums and never had to before. What changed here?

do you have your computer remember your password? that's what I am doing and it never pops up.
