I know we are all grownup here, but a condom ad on the home page?
I know to each his own but come on does it have to be there, if they did that at our hobby shop my kids would not get to go in till they they where a few years older. Flame me for being a prude I can take it, but my kids will not see it.

I haven't seen this ad as I have all ads blocked, but I'm not going to get into that out of respect to the forum.

Anyways though they cannot always control what ads are displayed depending on what services they use for ads. For instance I know that with Google Adsense that you can be surfing something, let's say a site about lawnmowers. OK you exit out or leave to another tab and then the Adsense can pickup your cookies and what not and display ads relevant to what you were surfing. So you may be on a site about DVDs and see an ad about a John Deere. I don't know if that was the case here, but I doubt they intentionally showed a condom ad on here.

I haven't seen that ad yet. I always see RC stuff then sometimes cars and T shirts.

I love this site and visit multiple times a day that is why I was taken back by the woman in the ad, very pretty I must say, and the words "do you like sex but not condoms, try our stinky winky brand".... That obviously is not the brand but you get the idea.lol
I went back to the home page and it was gone, it must be like what you said.

It's been mentioned several times; Contact the site administrator about an offensive ad and it will be removed. It's pretty much mentioned in every one of the countless "ad" threads.

it had to be me because this puter never goes online without my phone hooked to it, or out of my site.

he used to ride the public school bus so maybe he could tell me a few things that have been updated since i was in circulation. one year of that was enough, now he is in private school!

i looked up 'ads', 'offensive ads' and 'condoms', now I know I'm not the brightest candle on the cake but I didn't see anything that helped. I am sure the err of my way will be pointed out and for that I am truely thankfull to have learned some thing new.

meanwhile have a coke and a smile and chill out...lol

I install Add block , now I don't get the stupid adds that have nothing to do with Rc ..


I also do not see the r/c advertizements which I had no problems with at all....

Many ads are probably PPC, they do not rely on people that have ads blocked, most pays aren't even through regular members, most likely they are from stumblers and lurkers. This is just my opinion.
