Is there a way to view only the forums I'm interested in?

not really anyway i know of but here's something that you can do.

look at the category bar. (blue bar above each section of forums.) look all the way to the right of the bar. you will see a double up arrow. click it and it will minimize that category.

may not be exactly what you are looking for but it may help.

I did see that but there is another forum I've been on where you can save your favorite forums and also view just your favorites. No big deal
