Default What is the difference between a "Super Moderator" and a "Moderator"?

As the title states, I always wondered what the difference between the two are? Marcos, are you a "super" because you are "on the ball" or is it a seniority thing? I have seen all the different titles; Administrator, Founder, Moderator, and Super Moderator. I have not seen the title "Janitor" and I would like to apply for that position, help you guys clean some trash up!! Marcos, I do like reading your comments and "taking care of buisiness" attitude when deal with some of the !!!

Thanx -Craig

as far as I know Moderator moderate some but not all the site, Super Moderators can moderate the entire site . Admins can pretty much do what ever they want Founder is Shane/Futureal he is the one that created R/C Tech

Yup, that's pretty much it, as a plain 'ole mod, I only have mod powers in a single section(in my case, the Micro/Mini forum), in all other parts of RC Tech, I'm a regular member. But it is possible for me to gain mod powers in some other areas, but only if & when the higher ups decide to allow me to do so.....

Being a moderator does anyone get paid by rctech? Does super moderator get a bigger paycheck than moderators?

As for Administrator are they permanent staffs for rctech as an e-biz organization?

Marcos, perhaps RC-Tech should aborb the s.m & m as part timers. Since they had revised the advertising rules making money from it. Which indeed a fair deal for your end & the mods for their contribution to rctech all the while.

Moderators can only modify or control the forum to which they've been assigned. For example, if a moderator is put onto the Chat Lounge alone, that is the only forum they can edit threads, posts, close threads, ect.

Super Moderators can go anywhere, and do anything as far as Moderating the forum. The only thing they can't do is access the Administrator control panels.

Administrators can be considered to be "Super Moderators" on the forum, but then we also have tools on the back end of things - more tools to see who's naughty and nice, and can add, remove or edit moderator's duties, change user titles, profiles, send an e-mail to every member, shut down the forum, ect.
