Default FS Thread Removed?

My for sale thread was removed? Why?

The only reason I can think is because I bump it more than once a day. But how else am I supposed to sell something.

Yeah, probably got pulled. So did mine. Guess you can't "bump" your own thread. Maybe if you post a wikipedia link instead?

Its a stupid rule that you can only bump once per day.

Youre thread will be at page 10 by the end of the day.

If only the admin(s) would get a classified VB addon or make some sub categories in the for sale section...

sounds like you answered your own question.

If you bump more than once a day and one of the moderators catch it they will remove your post. Relist it.

It does suck that a post ends up on the 10th page by the end of the day. The search has been working better as of late so searching for items is better. If I am looking for something specific I will go thru 10-14 pages looking at titles only.

if you dont like the for sale forum rules or the rules from this site, i have a tip for you....DONT USE THE SITE....all that is asked is that you follow the rules, it is not the purpose of this site to help you sell your tmaxx....that is for e-bay...this site is to learn about rc, what is going on in rc, and to discuss issues...the for sale area is a perk....

the rules are the same for everyone, we clean up what we see....help us buy followin the rules...

also, i have thought about making sub forums, however do youhave any idea how hard it would be to moderate??? i mean come on, people cant figure out where to put threads now, it would take hours a day to keep everything in the right place...

what is there works...

none of the moderators get paid to moderate,

marcos is doing what he is supposed to do, and that is moderate the SITE

Yeah they killed mine too. I bumped it the night after I posted it but I guess they considered it to be two bumps since I added some info to it just a few minutes after the first post. I didn't really consider that a bump since it was extra info and just a few minutes but i guess they did. Not bitching, just pointing out that they are strict.

I just saw the rules at the top of the classified section. (I normally just do a search on what I'm looking for).

That being said, we gotta play by the rules. RC-Tech doesn't charge a dime for posting our ads, which rocks.

I understand though...without "bumps", our ads get lost in the shuffle. Maybe putting the URL (for the ad we are targeting) in our sig will help.

Your thread wouldn't be on page ten if everybody would quit bumping their thread more than once a day.
