Yeah I just searched for MY OWN item... the only items it brought up were from 2005, except ONE from today!
No way to sell things if ppl can't find them and you follow the rules and only "bump" once a day...

you enter something into the search that is a common tag like 17.5 brushless.... it gives you todays posts and then goes all the way to 2001!!!!
Brushless stuff wasn't around (for the most part) in 2001!!!!!!

Do a search for "Associated B4", and you get 0 results. Here, since the mods dont' seem to believe us, I copy and pasted the results:

yep I agree type in personal for a transponder and get nothing or maybe 1 listing and the rest dates back to 2002 or so nothing of newer dates. I know theres beena bunch on here for sale the last couple weeks.
This site doesn't use vB's search or the built in fulltext search. It uses a custom system where re-indexing isn't that simple. We are working on fixing this.
Honestly...the search function has been fouled up for two months now. This isn't acceptable.
I became a paid member back when paid memberships became available because RC Tech was an excellent resource when you could reliably search for the information needed or items you wished to buy. Now it's become pretty much useless...which is unfortunate. I already find that I'm on the site a mere fraction of what I was (read: fewer ad views...something that SHOULD concern the revenue side of IB) and tapering off fast. At this rate I'm thinking it's no longer worth me supporting the site with my membership dollars when I'm, in all honesty now, getting nothing in return.

The searches in B/S/T worked PERFECTLY (as far as I could tell) night before last and last night...now they're back to displaying one current result, two results from a month ago, and a TON of pre-2004 results. The search I tried was "13.5", last night it returned a few PAGES of hits from the past month, just as one would suspect.

The sense of elation I felt upon discovering "search" was working Monday night can only be described as Christmas, birthday, and finding one of Wonka's golden tickets all at once.
Now with it gone again it's like dnf'ing my last chance quallie, my dog dying and finding my wife in bed with my best friend all at once

Come on Mods. Let us know SOMETHING. Say you are working on it, you think we're full of crap or SOMETHING. Just searched Jammin and TC5. Jammin gave me 5 hits this year and the rest way older. TC5 gave me 3 hits TOTAL!!
