Just curious how many posts do you need to get up to till you are allowed to insert images? also are there any other features of the forum that are locked out till you get a certain post count. and the those limits.

Being someone that runs a few forums and is staff at 2 or 3 as well, can I ask why you wont let people post images until they get 10 posts? I can kind of understand the live links thing but images? Kinda silly if you ask me.

At some of my other forums i frequent you sometimes get a post or two with a spammer that posts pornographic images in order to aid toward their cause. I havn't seen any here though for that very reason.
Plus, this being a larger forum than most of the ones i frequent means that it is targeted by more spammers.

Im pretty sure this forum is bigger then RC universe, the only other real big R/c forum

By "most" forums i was talking about non-RC related, such as rx7 club and the solidworks discussion boards. Both of which have double the users that the 'tech has.

We've had some problems in the recent history. This safeguard helped prevent a lot of the problems.
I'm not a fan of restrictions, but this one HAS helped.
