Yea, almost all of that was due to my crappy coding of 2 years ago. I created the base style for the forum in a few hours and have never really updated it since, just patched things in here and there.
The new one should fix a lot of these issues. When it eventually goes up, be sure to let me know if it looks any better or not.

It seems like it does the same thing in all style settings once i hit refresh.

As I said, the "v2.0" one right now is simply the default vBulletin style (the software we use) with absolutely no modification applied to it. If you are still having the same problem with that setting, then it is most definitely a problem on your end and not on ours.
The upcoming "new" style will be similar to the current one but with a few more features and shorter page loading times.
