Arrow WHAT DOES 'BUMP' MEAN?

What does it mean when people post "bump". Or you might see "bump for a great guy". I know this is a stupid question but it's just been bugging me so i thought i would find out.

Thanks

People use the words "bump" or "ttt" to get their threads to the top of the for sale threads so more people can see their ads. Like bumping their thread to the top of the page. TTT means To The Top. You are allowed one bump per day here on rctech.

That's what i thought. I didn't know about the 'one bump a day' rule though and may have posted it twice or three times but only once. At least i know now. Thanks mate.
