All the more reason to create an rc scammer database where you can run the seller's/buyer's address before committing to the deal - http://spreadsheets.google.com/embed...jA5g3nhgtK8hOg

and,

why not make a seperate forum for new users where they have to prove they are not bots by answering a question from one of the regular members? ... just an idea..

P.S. night shifts are slowly killing me as well.. but in this economy many people don't even have (and won't) have a job..

THAT is one LOOOOOONG List...
One admin can't (Can but it will be very frustrating) do that alone.
Does this Forum have Moderator for each channel ?
So The moderator just keep an eye out for the spammers ?

Some Scammer Data base be awsome.

Finally a guy who understands and agree's with what Im trying to say..

Also Tsr6 You can ban Specific Ip's without blocking the whole ip route.. Blocking a single IP is NOT alot of work and can be done in less than 20 seconds if a person knows what there doing. Im not saying you dont, I think you are one of the very few staff members on here that actually DO something. Im just saying that it isnt all to hard, and could save ALOT of people getting scammed.
Theres also a Vbulletin Plugin that will IP block members that are automatically banned. This site should really look into it.

There are other admins, they just dont do shit. At least on the boards anyway. Also theres owners of this site that are only in it for the money and could give two shits if people are getting scammed or not. As long as they get there Vendors money and the money for advertisements, there happy. For them, this site is a business. Not a hobby. Ever since the site change from a hobbiest, to a "Business" man.. It has sucked.

Ok, I have posted in most of these "Database" threads.
I generally don't have to wait long to find a valid reason the system WON'T work.
Here is another.
Why would you add him to the list of SCAMMERS because it "raised an eyebrow" ?
YOU decide what is ligit or not?
YOU are the all deciding factor in "fair trade values"?
YOU just cost this person a loss of potential income of $125, by adding him to that list.
Sure you removed his name. Too late. someone saw it and decided not to buy. Atleast that's what a lawyer would say when he filed a suit.

I'm all for doing something about the scammers. I can see TSR's side. I can see IP banning (if done right) and am in favor of it, (I can deal with potentially loosing the ability to log in if they get mine in the mix accidently as long as there is a method of resolving it in place).

I am however not in favor of this scammer list if not PROPERLY handled.
It should be in the trader feedback, a locked thread with names as a link to the offense. Posted by Admin's or Mod's only. NO Speaches. NO Opinion's. JUST a Name, and link to the offense.

Wow I went on about that one.

Just my opinion, and probably not the popular one.
So we can look and the name, and see what caused it.

the scammer list has been created and will be published on some forum in the near future. it will not be properly handled because life isn't fair.. deal with it.
