Speedo: I have cable right now, with that same spec, and it is alright. I used to have a 768 down/512 up DSL connection and I did like that a bit better, since I could send stuff faster and I almost always hit my max download of 80 KB/sec or so.

Still, the cable has been OK, and I don't have too many problems with people crowding my connection.

RedScorp: Even when your connection seems fine on other sites, there's always the chance that there is a routing issue going on between your ISP and the R/C Tech server. You will know this right away if the page takes a while to load, but generates in only a few seconds.

Hmmm, might have to do it. Will just mean more downloads for me and less for other people

Since I'm going to be building my own computer this summer to add to the network, that will be 3 desktops and a laptop when my dad plugs his in, and I don't think 384 would suffice for that.

Default Site Slow Down

futureal;

I am now find the problem most prevalent with PM's. I am now having a tremendous slowdown (dial-up) when sending or opening any PM's.
I know that the problem is not solely limited to my PC, because I am now getting 3-4 copies of a PM from other People (multiple clicks on 'Submit' because of slowdown?).

Again, before the last upgrade, I NEVER had problems like this.

Thanks,

I tweaked the server a bit tonight, let me know if the performance has improved at all. It seems pretty snappy to me right now.

this page generated in 1.21923006 sec...

I too have noticed significant slowdowns recently, everywhere and in PMs. Today seems ok though...
