Default How do I get a Sticky Thread ?

How do I get a Sticky Thread ? I've tried contacting the moderator of the Australian Racing area a number of times , I've even tried emailing The Boss , futureal all to no avail . Can anybody help ?

so you have to start a thread and then they will make it sticky if you have the numbers ?

Sort of. It really depends on the topic, if it's deemed important enough that the mods feel everyone should see it & be able to find it easily, then they'll "sticky" it. An example of this is one I did in the Mini/Micro forum I'm a mod in, it was about people having trouble wih a certain electronics combo, & it looked like something everyone who had that combo would benefit from seeing(& referring to later), so I made it a sticky. I don't know what subject you started in your thread, but if it's decided it needs to remain seen by everyone, then they'll do it. If you chat with the mods in that forum section about it & state your case, then they might be willing to do it for you....

The thread he is trying to sticky is the 2007 Australian 1/10 and 1/8 IC Nationals.
Its got the links to the entry form etc etc.
