Go to the main Forum page (where you can scroll down forever and see all the forums that are here), and click on the General tab itself. You'll see it then. You're the same as me: been here for a little bit, post a bunch, spend a decent amount of time here... then "what the hey is that? a new forum!".

Maybe the RCTECH Gods will change it. Maybe not. It might be the way it is for a specific reason.

I have already found a number of template issues that I didn't catch on the dev site, mostly with IE. I will try to address these in the coming few days.

If anybody sees any other bugs or has suggestions, please let me know.

I will activate the RSS stuff and a few other little bell and whistles in the coming days.

The "search this thread" search option is now MIA. I used that feature a ton. Maybe I'm just not seeing where it is now located.

Thanks for all the work on the site.

You're right! I don't know why that is happening, it was there on my test site. I will investigate this today. Don't worry, it will return.

Dont know if this is the right place for it but the goto=lastpost no longer works which i find handy with favourites shortcuts.

I think this link refers to it...
http://www.vbulletin.com.health.u.or...light=lastpost

Otherwise some nice new features

Kewl!

I had posted in another thread a different issue I was having, so will repost it here:

I have:

Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up

Checked in my profile, use to be when I would come to rctech I would get a popup telling me I had new PM, now I don't. I can see the pm's and the little square in the upper right hand side correctly tells me I have new PM's, but I just don't get a popup anymore when I first come in to rctech.

Default .

im not getting the pop up alert for new pm's

also when i send a message it automatically asks for a read receipt

i use to get a pop up asking if i wanted one

also on a any PM i receive it says sender asked for a read receipt

when i hit the ok button it still stays solid as if i canceled the receipt

so im not sure if the om is showing the sender when i read the PM

Ditto on the no pop ups for PM.

And as was just mentioned, its hard to tell if I've actually clicked the "okay" button or not with those read receipts.

On the main page for the forum:

http://rctech.net/

I'm not seeing any "latest posts" on the left hand side of the page.

Is anyone else seeing them?

Main page is known to be broken. We are doing a complete re-design/overhaul - should be up in the next couple of weeks. So stay tuned for that; should be a major upgrade.
