Default OT: How do I resize a GIF animation to fit my avatar profile?

I do I shrink the GIF animation down so I can put it on my avatar?
Right now the size is 496kb.
Thanks in advance!

If it’s a standard .gif then you can resize it in ms paint select all then move the squares on the edge of the picture, if it’s a animated .gif its a lot harder you have to do it frame by frame or download a animated .gif editor program of the net.

If you have photoshop you can resize it. It will also tell you the byte size.
