All looks good, but i think you should scrap points 3 and 5.
Point 3 as it is means no cropping, no sharpening, no anything ..pics straight from the camera! Not many people would do no photoshopping whatsoever.
Point 5 is a personal thing and shouldn't be a rule. Personally i don't use them, but some will... and some might not even post their awesome shot if they cant... and at the end of the day isn't that what it's all about .... good photos?

Here's my Trinidad Tobago TB-20

I think static and any r/c type should be allowed too :)

My thought on the water mark is that it takes away from the photo itself!

here's my entry, but it may change if post processing is allowed #3.

I wanna use this photo as the a example.if you wanna clean up the image thats ok but basically you see where the guys legs are in the upper corner...if that was the r/c, that would be a little tooo extreme to crop from that distance in the photo

I agree man, the image quality would really suffer if you went to crop down to such a small piece of the original.... but i guess that comes down to the pixels count of the camera a bit too. If the image quality wasn't great as a result i would assume that would reflect in the judging.... so it all evens out.
I guess what i mean of photoshopping to enhance what is already there using basic tools that get applied evenly over the whole frame like hue/saturation, brightness/contrast, levels, sharpening and a few others and cropping.
Rule 3 kinda cuts all that out...although it would be hard to tell anyway.
I also agree with your point on rule 5 how some people make large signature marks or splash watermarks right across the pic..... it don't look so good. If i ever do a sig i like to keep it so small and blended that you would hardly ever pic it .... like a small sticker on a car somewhere.
Perhaps rule 5 could be something like this.
Rule 5: It's preferred you dont include a signature or watermark on your pic, but if you MUST please keep it to a minimum.

Anyway i hope i don't sound like a winging nancy boy~ and sorry for clogging the new thread.

I will also add another pic here later in it's place!

I am submitting a picture just so my buddy can see his car on the world wide web. Crop, resize, hue/saturation is all that has been done to this picture. However, I"m not sure if it's Photobucket, but the picture looks much better before using an image hosting site. It's in focus, but on here looks out of focus. If anyone has some suggestions, please do let me know.

I will be judging this months contest and will based on a few criteria, which will be added this weekend. I will choose the winner on November 1st. and might even present the winner with some sort of prize.

Keep an eye on THIS POST , it will be changing very soon.
Since there is no way , at least that I know of , to detect post processing done to an image, I say let it go.

Cropping, resizing, hue/saturation are all the norm these days. Not everyone can afford a 300mm lens, nor do some people want to get 2 ft away from a screaming car. Besides, what photo hasnt' been photochopped?

This month's theme is OPEN so anything goes...

I wonder if you posted the same thread in a couple of the other forum categories, like one in electric on-road, electric offroad, nitro ect, the ones that get a lot of members visiting said section. I bet a mod can make it a sticky in each section. Having a thread go on for a month straight with a bunch of entries should drive a lot of people to view the thread, which in turn, adds more instances of sponsor's banners being seen.

Rule #3 should be dropped as there is a certain style of editing that I like doing- to make the picture so it's uniquely my style and can be recognized a picture by me.

#5 there's some obvious watermarks that should be avoided, like spanning across the image, but some may not want to add an image if they can sign it
