WTB Tamiya TRF 414x or 414 chassis or parts
Hi,
I'm looking buy a TRF414x or 414 chassis or parts in any condition.
I know these chassis were built in low numbers and are over 10 years old...but
there must be a few still around.... I hope anyway.
A lot of forum member have kindly offered parts and chassis from the later
TRF414m series but its not what I'm looking for, only the real early stuff.
If you have something to sell please contact me PM.....
Cheers
Scotty

What do you consider the early stuff? I've got 2 1/2 of the 414 with parts, just need to know what is considered early...

TRF414
Hi George,
have a look at this link about Tamiya development history of the TRF414 series.
http://www.tamiya.com/english/produc...4m_history.htm
As you will read Tamiya first Pro level chassis started with the TRF404x which was only a development model not intended to be released.
From that chassis Tamiya released to the American market the TRF414x in limited numbers.
Then came the TRF414 part number 49132, followed by the TRF414m, TRF414m2 then finally a Worlds Edition TRF414.
One important note is the TRF404x and TRF414x have alloy suspension arms and hubs that the later TRF414 used plastic suspension arms and hubs.
The TRF414m2 was the first to use blue anodized alloy parts.
I'm really interested in the very early Tamiya TRF404x or TRF414x, and that is to find in any condition or parts. But due to its age its getting harder.
I would be still interested in the later TRF414 but not the later TRF414m as I already have parts etc.
George I would be very interested in what you have, can you tell me what model you have, even pictures ?
Regards
Scott
