Default WTB: 2.2 TIRES OR PREMOUNTED 2.8 TIRES

LOOKING FOR SOME 2.2 DIRTHAWGS,DIRTWORKS OR ANY OFFROAD TREAD OR BRAND AS LONG AS THE TIRES ARE 4 TO 4.5 INCHES TALL NOT CLOSE TO 5 ONLY TIRES NOT WHEELS

OR PREMOUNTED 2.8 DIRTHAWGS OR OTHER OFFROAD TREAD OR BRAND AS LONG AS THEY ARE 4 TO 4.5 INCHES TALL AND 12MM HEX WHEELS

THESE ARE GOING A SLASH 4X4 SO ONLY THE 2.2 TIRES ARE NEEDED UNLESS SOME ONE ALSO HAS RPM CRAWLER WIDE WHEELS SINCE THESE ARE THE ONLY 2.2 WHEELS I FOUND WILL FIT THE FRONT OF A SLASH 4X4
AND THE PREMOUNTED 2.8 WILL WORK FINE ALSO BUT DONT WANT A MONSTER 5 INCH TIRE LIKE A BADLAND OR TRENCHER WANT SOMETHING A BIT SMALLER

I've got a set of four NIP Proline 2.8 BowTie premounts on the Torque wheels and while they will fit on the Slash 4X4, they will stick out about 1/3 inch per side because of the different offset. They sell for $30 something a pair. I want $35 plus whatever it costs to ship for the set of four.

BTW, it is possible to modify standard 2.2 tires to fit Traxxas 2.8 wheels (and Proline, now that they are making them with a Traxxas bead) and fit inside the body on a Slash 4X4. I know, because I've done it. I even have a sequence of photos I took during the process, but don't have links handy right now.

Here's a pic of the Bowties. PM if interested.

Nice setup. not concered about offset not using a sct body anyway im using a f650 proline body. im not really into chrome and want a tougher more aggressive tread but ill keep these in mind. my first choice is a 2.2 tire on a rpm crawler wheel cause of the wide offset but ill be lucky to find someone getting rid of that exact setup

I have a set of Traxxas Alias pre-mount 2.8's on black chrome All-stars. They are 4.3" x 2.1" - 2.8". I bought em to try on my Merv for better grip on the track... but it took about 2 laps to see that they were just way too big for the car. One wheel has a flake of the black chrome that came off, no idea why, and the others are all fine. Tires themselves are still like new. $25 shipped.
