Is your Losi ESC broken? I have a Losi ESC out of a Mini-Slider and it does both forward and reverse. I was going to offer it for $14 shipped. But before buying another ESC, download the instructions for the ESC from Losi and see if it has a reverse lockout setting that can be changed. There are a number of ESCs like that - you can set them to disable reverse for racing or enable it for bashing. Yours may just be in the race mode - see if it can be reset before buying another ESC (even mine)

That was actually my first thought yesterday, but I cannot find anything that shows that ESC has reverse lockout. I can only find directions on the losi site for resetting the ESC which did not fix the problem.

PM sent on the $14 ESC.

the losi esc does NOT have a reverse-lockout feature.
