Default Slot car track

Thinking about trying a slot car track with my kids to see if they take to it. Just want to try out a cheap one instead of buying an expensive one and they not like it like I use to.

Not sure. I think I use to have Tyco, which the cars were about the same size as a Matchbox car. What size is that?

if you're going to buy a track, get afx. as far as cars go afx, and tyco are good. not sure what your budget is but the afx super international set is the best bang for the buck. it's a great starter track, 4 lanes, fairly big, also comes with everything you need to get going, and 4 cars. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LX0623&P=SM

I second this recommendation...the Super International set is by far the best HO set out there. I just bought this set last week and tried it out over the weekend...way cool. They give you a layout sheet in the manual which shows how to build 4 lane versions of the tracks in the ENTIRE F1 season.

The set includes a ton of track, 4 cars, 4 controllers, 2 power packs, plus a few other things. The set retails for around $150, which is a deal since the 4 cars are worth $100 if bought separately.

I have a super international tommy/afx set I'll sell cheap.. plus I have tyco track and life like track too... I use to race fray t-jets here but I sold all my t-jet stuff on ebay and I just remebered that I had all that track in storage.. If you want the tommy/afx stuff let me know. shipping maybe a lot I have a lot of track and it weighs a -lot... Also if anyone want the tyco or life like track let me know.. I'll let it go very-very cheap. I can't use that track anymore.. And I hate to see it go to waste...
