I usually use Rite Dye , you can find it at the local super market (Ours Vons , or albertsons) or any fabric store/ walmart. But this brand worked really good just what i was looking for in the shape of color i wanted.
my tip, boil the dye until the water in the pot is "rolling" in a boiling motion.
- second is dye all the wheels at the same time, and check often, once the plastic is hot enough to start taking the color it isn't long for it to become dark in color.
-third tip is to let the dye cool and put it in a two liter bottle and save it for next time... if you have too much for a 2 liter bottle you can boil it longer until it fits in any jug or jar.
