Savage XS RTR Full FPV setup + Extras
Up for sale is my Savage XS RTR. It comes with the following:
HPI 2.4GHz radio
Proline Big Joe's on Desperados (90% life left)
JunFac 13mm wheel wideners (includes spare barrel nuts and spacers)
New CVD's, front and back as well as center
New HD center drive cups
New front and rear diffs
New shock towers and posts
unopened CVD rebuild kit
unopened e-clip eliminator set
old diffs
diff shims
12mm to 17mm hex adapters (not shown. You can use 1/8th scale buggy wheels!)
original drive cups and shafts
2x Zippy 2s 4000mah hard packs
2x Hyperion 4400mah 35C packs
I just spent $180 on new CVDs, HD cups, and diffs. I shouldn't have but it's too late to return it. It runs smooth like it was new. The ESC fan needs a new bearing since it starts off pretty loud then goes away after a few minutes. Everything else runs perfect.
I also have an FPV system on it. It comes with a 520tvl pico cam, 600mw 40ch vtx, and a VAS mad mushroom antenna. It's powered by a single JST plug that I soldered to the ESC power lead. I get about 300ft of good video on a clear field.
I use XT60 connectors on the ESC and the batteries. I can provide more XT60s if needed. This is a tough little guy. I've had it since 2012, it takes a beating, and is tough as nails. It's ready to run. All you need is your video receiver and goggles/monitor.
