Your original post is very misleading... The E Revo BL edition is only $700-800 new, not $1000. Also, this is not the E Revo BL edition, it is a brushed E Revo with a less powerful system then the BL edition.

ah cool. thanks for the clarification. posted $1000 due to the fact that im in canada, and the BL e-revo is $969 here.

as for the the BL e-revo having a more powerful system in it, not sure where you are getting that info from. Stock Castle system's output is 120A continous, the HobbyWing is 150A continous....

Gotcha! That makes sense with the prices. Although the ESC is higher rated, the motor is less powerful then the castle system. I have had both in an E Revo and speak from personal experience. By dimensions the ZR8 is 5mm shorter, so theoretically, unless there's some magic going on, the Castle 1515 will be more powerful.
