Default Motor Coolers

I have finished testing and "developing" these motor coolers I have been working on them and am going to start selling some of them. The motor cooler is a very effective way to essentially "freeze" your motor before a race. Everyone knows that heat is the worst thing for a motor, and using the cooler helps keep your motor running cooler, which means more power and efficiency. The cooler doesn't just cool the can, it freezes through the entire motor, so the endbell and armature are just as cold.
*Just a note, this isn't some miracle product, and I'm not going to try and play it off as that. But this is a very helpful device to get a little bit more power and life out of you motors. And every racer knows that every little bit counts

I know there are a few of these sort of things out there, so I am going to start offering them at $50 a piece. If you are interested, let me know what car you are running, because I have versions that either go from the underside of the chassis, or can clamp onto a motor (from the top)

Oh, pics are coming

Here is a pic of my Xray version.
To get an idea of how cold this gets: notice the water vapor from the air condensing on the copper plate

For the ones that come from under, there is a copper piece that wraps around the motor a little bit. I will also have one that has a clip-on heatsink to attach to the motor. This one can be used with cars that the motor is accessible from above, or if the motor is out of the car.

I would imagine you only have so many ways to make this type of cooler. You can say almost everything is a copy of something else. Look at all the touring copies of the 415!!!!!!!!!!!! Xray and Corally come to mind as more or less they are copies!!!!!!

Not saying I'm right or wrong on this but it happens in every day. No patent means lots of copying it going to happen.

Hard to say I ripped off his idea as people have been using and making these for a couple years.
According to you, HPI, Tamiya, and Yokomo must have ripped off the TC3, and Xray, Corally, Yokomo, and HPI are ripping off the 415.

I think he has done a variation and did not rip anyones idea. Free country and you can copy and do as you like if not copyrighted and all that jazz - but it still is done.

When might you have these ready for all of us?

quote from Team Pharriswheel

Just want to say thanks to ya'll that have purchased my "SuperCooler" & "SuperCoolerX" over the past few years. It's been "fun"!
Having sold over 700 units worldwide, it has been an experience.
Recently I sold my patent rights (all 16 of them) to a "major" manufacture and I am no longer making them (although I still have a few left to get rid of, Email if interested).

There have been a few folks who have made and sold similar units and it was never my intention to pursue legal action for patent infringment (although my attorney thought I should), because it is, and will always be a "hobby" for me. But I no longer control that, Sooo...Please be careful if your going to market Peltier based electric motor coolers. Good luck!
Jeff -- Team Pharriswheel

oh and by the way AE did not come up with the shaft Idea first. Tamiya had the first shaft drive car then there was the Preditor which AE copied
