MTX-3 for sale - race ready!!
For sale is my Mugen MTX-3 1/10 scale on-road touring car. Built and used only for racing purposes for rubber tire class, this car was maticulously taken care of and cleaned after each race. I have owned this racer for 2 months, but decided to stick to off-road racing, so I decided to sell this. This sale will include this race ready tourer complete with the following:
1) Novarossi RR12L3 Turbo motor - broken in and ran with 20% Odonell fuel using the Josh Cyrul heat cycle method with ten tanks. I used this motor for one race day only - two 5 minute qualifiers, and three 5 minute mains. It has tremendous bottom-end and ballistic top-end. I never temp'd the engine over 225f deg' and monitored engine temp using an Exergen heat gun.
2) Protoform Mazda 6 200mm Touring Car Body - beautifully painted using Pactra enamels, rear wing reinforced for optimum strength and down-force. Only used for my last race day (just like the engine).
3) Futaba S9450 Digital Servos - used for both throttle and steering, super strong, as well as fast.
4) 700mah Nimh Receiver Pack - has 16 gauge Dean's wires and connectors.
5) Aluminum Servo Arms - for no-flex precision, annodized red.
6) 3racing Hop-ups - which include: 4mm Graphite radio tray, newly revised Front Universals (stronger than last generation's universals), Aluminum clamping wheel hex hubs, right and left rear bulkhead braces, front aluminum swaybar holders.
7) RDlogics Turbo-II One Piece In-Line Exhaust System - no dents , very small scratches on the bottom of the pipe. Awesome match with the Novarossi RR12L3 engine.
I will also include New parts in their packages: 1 pr. Front Lower Arms T0136, 1 pr. Rear Lower Arms T0137, 1 pr. Front Uprights T0138, 1 pc. Rear Upright T0139, Front Belt T0241, Side Belt T0242, Rear Belt T0243 (already installed on vehicle for last race), Diff Pully set T0220 (rear diff case and pulley was used for last race), and 5 new 1st and 2nd Spur Grears T0222 (x2) T0223 T0225 T0226.
Also included will be the Front One-Way diff (I have a front gear diff with 30k installed now for our tight technical track), the different ackerman arms, rear arm carriers, and instruction manual.
This sale will not include a receiver and my AMB transponder. As you see in the pictures provided, it's practically new and race-ready - just add your receiver, fuel it, and race it!
