Default problem with search this forum

didnt know where to post this so i will try here. does anyone have a problem when they use the search this forum on the for sale thread that it only shows older post not new ones. i posted some stuff for sale and i tried to use the search forum to find them and they do not even come up. i put in the exact title name and they do not show. even tried it on some other new post and they didnt come up in the search

Yes, it doesnt work the greatest, and sorting is difficult (even in advanced search), better to just scan recent listing

hmmmmm pigpen i entered your name in the advanced search and came up with 4 pages of your adds with the most recent being from yesterday

I've been having problems as well. Mentioned it here yesterday but no response yet.

Searched Hudy or Dex210. I saw those on page one but only old listings showed up.

never used the advanced search before always used the regular one with no problems until now

Same here. I purchased an item and just searched for it and couldn't find it. I had to go to my subscribed threads to find it. I then searched using the exact verbiage in the title and it still didn't come up.

If I put in a search term, the results come back in a seemingly random order....some will say the last post was a few minutes ago, with the next one down showing a week ago, the next one showing yesterday, then the next being 15 minutes ago...very odd.

I just put in "mugen" as a search term, and check out the order of the results (last post day and time):

I noticed it too. The search is not reliable. The best way is to keep visiting this page frequently and comb through the first 5-6 pages every few hours.
